DAYLE THEISEN
Dayle (she/her) is a Chicago-based dancer, singer, actor and gogo dancer.
She is originally from Maple Grove, Minnesota where she began her musical theatre career when she was 9. She found herself in a Lifetime Fitness hip-hop class (clad in baby blue crocs) and that began it all. From there, she spent her childhood in competition dance, voice lessons, and in her schools theater program.
Other than performing, Dayle’s favorite non-theatre hobbies include; walking her dog Rev, making jewelry, convincing herself that she can tackle any type of diy, treating herself to an iced coffee, and being around lakes.
Dayle came to Chicago to attend The Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University to receive a BFA in Musical Theatre Dance, and stayed post-grad.
Her most recent theater credits include: Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Ordway), The Pajama Game (Artistry), Hello Dolly (Theater Latté Da), and A Chorus Line (O’Malley Theater)
In the future, Dayle hopes to become an intimacy choreographer in Chicago and travel while doing what she loves. Dayle is looking forward to being a part of an industry that values people first & equality.
